Who’s Behind The Mask

There are many stories of the brutality and unwarranted behavior of ICE Agents: grabbing people off the streets, smashing windows and unfortunately murder. With no accountability these masked vigilantes walk the streets with “absolute immunity protection.” Why are they masked?

Todd Lyons, acting director of ice, claims mask are necessary to protect agents and their families for retaliation.  Though he gives no data to show a significant increase to warrant this policy. President Trump signed an executive order, including this text - "Riots in Los Angeles and Portland reflect a more than 1,000 percent increase in attacks on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers since  January 21, 2025, compared to the same period last year.” One thousand percent, of what? Did you know 1,000% of 2 is 20. Compared to how many arrest ICE made in the same time frame. Judges, Sheriff Deputies and Police Officers receive the same threats and are unmasked. Prosecuting and arresting forces on American soil should not be masked.

These agents need accountability for their actions. Being unmasked is the first way to re-install some responsibility for their actions. Being unmasked shows their human side to allow the public to see them as citizens not terrorist.

The administration claims these arrest are to keep us safe. We deserve the right to see who is making arrest on our behalf.
